| Once Upon a Pageants goal Meet and make new friends Gain confidence and self esteem Show off your personality during a fun filled day of children's imaginative play with Once Upon a Pageant! We are a theme modeled family pageant system. All preliminary pageants as well as finals will be theme oriented. Keeping this in mind this is a low key, fun event to help the children gain key interpersonal skills while having fun and making friends along the way. Children love to play dress up and this gives them an opportunity to do so in a fun filled arena with peers of the same age. Every child is a Star! |
I have a very strong background in Dance and Women's Artistic Gymnastics, having
Choreographed many award winning routine's. I am a Nationally Certified Gymnastics
Instructor of Women's Gymnastics and have spent the past 15 years Coaching in the Durham
Region. I am also currently the Creative Director of Dance at Gym Stars Dynamic.
My Creative abilities, flair and eye for detail has given me the drive to Create and Direct Once
Upon a Pageant. We are not your typical Pageant that you may see on the made for TV reality
shows.
We want kids to be kids and we cherish missing teeth, braces, and glasses.
We have also laid out guidelines for our pageant participants, in regards to age appropriate
clothing and makeup. We are not looking for miniature adults.
My goal is that each child has an opportunity to shine and all participants are rewarded and
recognized.
Every little girl is made to feel like the Princess that she is and will come away with a Tiara,
and every boy with be awarded with a Trophy. My goal is to reward youth for outstanding
accomplishments, efforts in good sportsmanship & competition at each pageant. Building self
esteem, strong character and confidence in the field of the performing arts.

Mother of 4 grown children and Nana to two beautiful little girls ages 7 and 2.
My Grand daughter's are active in Pageant's and I love participating with them.
My great niece is also active in Pageants and I love the time that I get to spend
with her. Designing costumes, helping select and embellish outfits. And most of
all getting to spend special time with the girls.
