| we will be offering the Optional Category " Passion for Pink" 100% of the proceeds from this category will be donated to the Passion for Pink Team , the passion for pink team will be raising funds throughout the year in anticipation of participating in the 2012 CIBC run for the Cure. My family has been actively raising funds in the fight against Breast Cancer since mid 2007 While my beautiful Mother was in the midst of the fight of her life, my husband registered Bev's Team in the Princess Margret Weekend to End Breast Cancer 60 KM Walk This was a very bitter sweet day for our family as sadly our Mom/Grandmother Bev passed away 2 days shy of Mother's day in May My 3 handsome sons, my beautiful daughter and my wonderful husband at the finish line. " Cheerleaders" I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in June 2007 following my mothers death, I am so very greatfull for the advances in early diagnosis and treatment options and beyond thrilled to be a Survivor! Myself my Sister Penny and Brother In Law Stan I cherish this day as this past August my Sister Penny passed away from Lung/ LIver Cancer August 6th 2011 Our Family raised over $11.000 that year. In early June 2007 my biopsy results were confirmed and I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. My family has been committed to the Fight to help end Breast Cancer. My husband and I have continued each year raising funds towards the cause. We have been actively participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure since 2008 , to date we have raised over $18,000 . And each Pageant we will offer the Optional Category " Passion for Pink " Some of the hosted Pageants will make this a " Mom and Me " Category. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Team. We will also be holding several Raffles and many other fund raisers through out the year. Please join us Sincerely , Jan Prosser |
