


Once Upon a Pageant
General Info:
When registering for one of our Pageants you have a few options.
Formal Wear is a mandatory category
( You do not have to participate in Optionals)
You may select to do Formal and only 1 optional, two , or all that are offered.
When selecting All categories ( each pageant may offer more or less categories)
We recommend that you choose the Best Pageant Package.
The Best Pageant Package, will cover Formal Wear and all Optional Categories that are offered for each Pageant at a discounted rate.
Side Awards:
Side awards may differ at each Pageant, however, we are very generous at all of our pageants and usually offer 4-5 side awards for each
age group. Side Awards are always judged during the Formal Category, and may include. Best Dressed, Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Smile,
Most Handsome, Most Beautiful, Personality. Etc
Optionals:
Optional Categories are offered at each Pageant, keep in mind that each pageant we host is a theme styled pageant. Information on All
optional categories and theme will be posted on the web-page and updated regularly. The information will include the type of category,
clothing information and requirements.
Optional for Charity: Charity 2011 /2012 will be the CIBC run for the Cure to Benefit the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. 100% of
the proceeds raised will be donated to the Fight against Breast Cancer.
Talent:
Talent is an add on Optional, meaning that it is available to all that wish to participate ( all ages) however, it is not included in the Best
Pageant Package.
Composite Card
Comp card is like a photo postcard made up with Graphics of your choice that Accents your child's photo's and theme of choice.
Comp card include 3- 5 photos in various collage format.
Stage time
You may accompany your younger child on stage,the format is a backward shaped T. There will be special markings on the floor for
contestants to use. By going to the designated markings, this gives your child a chance to really show off the beautiful attire they are
wearing. This also gives the judges an opportunity to see the child and clothing at different angles. There is no minimum time allotted,
for Formal wear you may use up to 1 minute.
Optional Stage Time:
For the younger contestants you may escort your child on stage and in front of the judges. No minimum time limit,participants using props
and showing a theme routine are asked to have an optional routine that is not longer than 1:30 ( if you need more time) please speak to
the Director
Talent Stage Time:
Younger contestants may be escorted and assisted during Talent, use of props is permitted and encouraged. You may select your own
music to match your theme or Talent. Talent routines should be under 3 minutes
